Mandy

I painted this portrait of my cat Mandy after she passed in the winter of 2020. She and I had been roommates a long time, and I wanted to commemorate her life. This painting is of her, surrounded by her favorite things: her favorite place to sleep (my living room with its green walls, orange sofa, blue chairs and rainbow rug); a spot in the sun; and her favorite toys (gift wrapping bows). She was a lover – and would love to know this bright painting was bringing cheer to someone’s life. Enjoy!
