Fall in New Hampshire

I lived in Boston prior to moving to Minnesota and while I was there I really enjoyed how close I was to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. On many a weekend, I would drive the 3 hours north to hike in the granite, greens, creeks, and trees. I still try to go back every few years to hike and be nostalgic. This painting was inspired by a 2018 fall trip. The leaves had just started to turn and you kept moving from layers of greens to layers of reds and yellows. I came home and created this more abstract piece from my impressions. Enjoy!
