Lakeside Wildflowers

In 2020, I wasn’t traveling due to the pandemic, so I went looking through my old photos to find painting inspiration. I came across a picture of a native plant garden full of yellow wildflowers at Lake Nakomis, in Minneapolis. The flowers seemed to glow against the setting sun. I tried to capture the sun, the lake and the beauty of the flowers in this painting. Please Enjoy!
