Rafting the Canyon

In 2008 I took one of the most amazing trips of my life, a rafting trip down the Colorado River, through the Grand Canyon. It was 226 miles from Lee’s Fairy to Diamond Creek. Two weeks of rapids, lazy river drifting, and sheer cliffs. The colors were amazing. I loved it so much that I went back and did the first half again in 2012, and when I came home, I painted my impressions. This is one of my favorite paintings – Enjoy!
